Location: ABode Canterbury is a stylish, four AA star 72‑bedroom boutique hotel on Canterbury High Street, which houses our own restaurant brand, Brasserie ABode. For the commuters, Canterbury East and West train stations are just a few minutes’ walk away. We pay our team service charge each month – 100% of that is shared amongst the team. Service charge can be around £115 a month (around £1375 per year) over and above base pay.

Role Overview: Come and join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant and let your passion and personality shine. As a Housekeeping Assistant you will keep all front‑of‑house areas and guest bedrooms gleaming, ready to welcome our wonderful guests. We welcome applications from candidates with no experience – the role is all about personality and attitude; we can teach you the rest.

Key responsibilities:

  • Clean rooms, lounge and other front‑of‑house areas to maintain the hotel’s appealing look.
  • Keep up to date on all COSHH training.
  • Assist in cross‑departmental teamwork, including occasional help during busy periods.
