Abodda is transforming property search in the UK. We go beyond listings by providing meaningful insights into neighbourhoods, lifestyle, and community so people can find where they truly belong. Launching next month, our platform is designed to simplify the home moving journey for buyers and renters. We also support estate agents through dedicated subscriptions and expert guidance, helping them reach and engage the right audience more effectively. We are building something ambitious and are looking for a Data Science Intern to help shape it.

This is a remote UK based non-paid internship for 6 months. Full time is preferred but part time can be considered. This is not a shadowing role. You will own a project end to end with guidance from the team.

You will:

  • Research and define a focused problem area
  • Design and document your solution
  • Build and test a production ready system
  • Support deployment to cloud infrastructure

The role bridges data science and software engineering. If you enjoy building intelligent systems and engineering them properly into production, you will be a strong fit.

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

  • Strong Python experience
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity while understanding the code you write
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a small team
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

Major pluses:

  • Experience deploying and maintaining Azure services
  • Experience using Docker
  • Experience with data science tooling such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, CUDA, PyTorch, and similar libraries
