About the Role

We’re looking for 2 awesome home carers to join our local supportive Community Team based in Corsham, Chippenham, Batheaston & surrounding areas to bring a smile to our clients’ daily lives.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients predominantly around Melksham, Devizes & surrounding areas.
  • Perform community-based home care tasks, including attending scheduled visits from the first minute of the first visit to the last minute of the last visit in each shift.
  • Work a mix of shifts between 7am‑3pm and 3pm‑10pm, including alternate weekends.
  • Travel to client sites; you may need to travel beyond the standard area occasionally.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
  • Right to work in the UK; settled status required as we cannot offer sponsorship.
  • Passion to care and support others, even if you have no previous experience.
  • Complete the paid full induction training before heading out to support clients.
  • Dedicated manager and teammates will provide support throughout each shift.

Salary

Full rate of hourly pay, including all travel, waiting time, induction, training, and when you’re with clients. Average hourly pay: £13.00. Full time pay equivalent: Over £27,000. Weekdays (daytime): £12.30. Weekdays (evening): £12.90. Weekends (daytime): £13.80. Weekends (evening): £14.50. Plus additional pay for Bank Holidays. Rates in place from 1st February 2024. Plus 25% extra for overtime for additional shifts over your requested average weekly hours and outside of your regular availability, as set out in your Work Pattern.
