The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Quality Coordinator

Location: Monmouth, Monmouthshire, Wales

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week (14:30 finish on Friday\’s)

Salary: £28,980 per annum

Are you focussed on accuracy, quality, and doing things right the first time?

Do you have experience in a production or quality environment—or simply a keen eye for detail and a commitment to following process?

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Allocating batch numbers and issuing labels/information to production teams
  • Tracking and monitoring raw materials and finished goods to ensure shelf life and expiry compliance.
  • Conducting production testing for new batches and production changes
  • Collecting and managing product samples—performing basic in-house tests or sending to external labs
  • Reviewing laboratory results, logging outcomes, and escalating issues when required
  • Supporting or conducting internal audits and stock checks
  • Maintaining accurate records, managing archives, and supporting general quality administration

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a Production, Laboratory, or Quality environment (desirable but not essential)
  • High level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to data entry and record-keeping
  • Comfortable following set procedures and quality protocols
  • Prof IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
