AB Vista is seeking a motivated FP&A Analyst to join our high‑performing finance team and support commercial activities across our global business. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with commercial teams, delivering in‑depth financial analysis, including margin reviews, customer profitability, credit assessment and presenting in cross‑functional forums. Based in Peterborough with a hybrid working model, this position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in a dynamic, international environment with clear progression opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning cycles in collaboration with key commercial stakeholders.
- Deliver rolling sales and margin forecasts and scenario analysis to support agile decision‑making.
- Deliver monthly sales bridges, pricing reviews and margin reporting to finance leadership and commercial teams.
- Lead and present in key cross‑functional forums—including Latest View, Operations, and Opportunities & Risks reviews—delivering clear insights, driving alignment, and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes and tools to enhance global efficiency, accuracy, and automation—including but not limited to CAPEX reviews, bid modelling and credit reviews.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a finance role, including budgeting, monthly reporting and understanding margin drivers.
- Advanced Excel skills with expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong presentation skills, capable of leading and engaging diverse audiences.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with non‑finance stakeholders to support performance improvement.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy of the work.
- Self‑starter with the energy and drive to make things happen in a fast‑paced environment.
Location Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park.
