The Role & Key Responsibilities
Job Title: Mill Operator
Location: Bury St Edmonds, Suffolk, UK
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Shift pattern: Days 6:00 to 18:00 – Nights 18:00 to 6:00 on a 5-5-4 Pattern

As an Operative at our Bury St Edmunds site you will work as part of a team performing tasks that support the efficient and safe production of high‑quality animal feed that is supplied to Farmers throughout Great Britain.
Your work will involve following standard processes to maximise production volumes, adhering to feed safety legislation, and ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time. You will also support the wider Mill operation by assisting with stock checks and consulting with the site maintenance team to ensure the Mill and equipment is effectively maintained.
The person who joins our team as an Operative will ideally have worked in a Production environment before, will be familiar with following standard ways of working and will have experience of operating automated plant machinery.
We can train you in the skills required to be an Operative; what is important to us is that you are self‑motivated, a team player, have great customer service skills, take pride in what you do and are a great communicator.
