We’re looking for a Product Coordinator to help manage the day‑to‑day movement of co‑products from distilleries and breweries to customers. The role involves working closely with suppliers, hauliers, product managers, sales and customer service teams to understand product availability, process orders, and maintain accurate documentation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating the movement of liquid–related co‑products from distilleries and breweries.
- Liaising with supplier sites and hauliers to track what has moved, what is due to come out, and what must be planned.
- Managing product availability in the system, ensuring quick and effective product moves.
- Processing sales and purchase information, including trading slips, contracts and order details, using AX and other internal systems.
- Maintaining accurate Excel trackers so product managers and other stakeholders have a clear view of availability and activity.
- Communicating quickly with internal stakeholders, including product managers, sales and customer service teams, when availability changes or urgent action is required.
- Supporting contingency planning when supplier requirements change at short notice, including situations where additional loads must be moved quickly.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in logistics, coordination, planning, supply chain, transport, administration or another fast‑paced operational role.
- Highly detail‑oriented, able to detect mistakes, inconsistencies or duplicated data.
- Confidence in adjusting work priorities when requirements shift.
- Clear communication skills across phone, email, Teams, WhatsApp and other channels.
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with data, trackers and order information.
- A proactive approach, with the judgement to know when to escalate and when to take action.
- The ability to work with multiple stakeholders and adapt to different supplier processes.
- Commercial awareness, or the willingness to build it, particularly where quick decisions are needed to keep product moving.
- A flexible, team‑oriented approach to working hours when urgent operational needs arise.
Location Detail: This hybrid role splits time between home and company offices in Sherburn and/or Peterborough. The selected candidate will be expected to travel to either or both offices when needed, with a minimum expectation of around twice per month after the initial onboarding period. During the first few weeks, a greater requirement to spend time in the office may apply to learn systems, understand the team and build knowledge of the operation.
Weekend Cover: The role includes covering weekend out‑of‑hours on a rota basis, currently expected to be no more than 1 in 4 weekends; this will be paid in addition to basic salary.
