The role involves visiting farms across the countryside, collecting individual cow milk samples during milking sessions throughout the year. The samples are used by National Milk Records (NMR) to provide farmers with detailed reports on herd health, milk quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel between farms to collect milk samples from individual cows.
- Record sample details and ensure accurate chain of custody.
- Provide farmers with sample details and assist with basic equipment handling.
- Support NMR data collection and quality assurance processes.

Self‑Employed Contract Details
As a self‑employed contractor you have autonomy to manage your work schedule. Payment is based on herd size, calculated on a per‑cow basis. Details will be discussed before allocation to farms.
