We have a unique opportunity for a recent graduate or school leaver to join our Operations team in our ABN AMRO Clearing Business. AACB’s Operations in London specialise in the post-transaction management of exchange traded derivative positions. Key processes include trade allocation and market reconciliations, cash and position reconciliations, regulatory reporting, corporate actions and invoicing. Additionally, Operations UK manages the physical and cash delivery of a wide range of derivative products including commodities, currencies, debt instruments, and emissions.

Derivatives Clearing Operations is comprised of three distinct groups:

  • Client Operations & Trade Processing – manages trade related client queries, monitors real-time CCP reconciliations, and is responsible for trade allocation, break resolution, and give-ups. Services client positions and brokerage invoicing, releases regulatory reports, and manages derivative settlements and physical deliveries.
  • Control – performs post-trade date reconciliations of trades, positions, cash and exchange fees.
  • Operational Change Support – serves as the central point of contact for promotion, tracking, and user acceptance testing of software and market related changes, inclusive of new development, enhancements to existing software, and bug fixes.

Your job

  • Trade allocations, matching and give-ups
  • Client query handling
  • Break resolution
  • Open interest maintenance on all European markets
  • End to end management of the physical delivery process
  • Management and facilitation of the option expiry processes across all European markets
  • Regulatory reporting ownership, including: exchange, EMIR and MIFID II reporting
  • Administration of invoicing for various processes
  • Exposure to initiatives and projects both locally and globally
