RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Our UK agency is recruiting for a new collaborator as a System Engineer M/F to support the technical teams involved in Hinkley Point C. The position will be based in Bristol, in a permanent contract.
  • Produce, review and update the system documentation for diverse electrical systems (DN, DS, DX) including operator instructions, human machine interface, safety and environmental specification, control logic design, as well as periodic testing in compliance with the engineering rules, methodologies, quality processes, and tools.
  • Management of interfaces with other disciplines involved in the radioprotection equipment contracts.
  • Management of the design and operation of the EPR systems during the design, construction and commissioning phases, in accordance with safety requirements, regulatory requirements and design rules.
  • Ensure the proper integration of detailed mechanical diagrams, functional diagrams, 3D model in the associated tools.
  • Receive modification requests issued by various engineering teams, verify the coherence of these modifications, systematically challenge their necessity and ensure with them the feasibility and validity of these modifications.

BACKGROUND AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Electrical, Nuclear Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Electrical Engineer.
  • Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909).
  • Knowledge of the nuclear field via educational curriculum or professional experience.
  • Technical documents reviews.
  • Experience in radioprotection field, instrumentation equipment design, procurement, testing or installation.
