Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Aerospace Engineer to join our growing engineering division. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and integration of aerospace systems and components. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, analyse, and optimise aerospace systems, structures, or propulsion components.
  • Support development across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to manufacturing and testing.
  • Perform simulations, modelling, and performance analysis using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, designers, and manufacturing specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and international aerospace standards and regulations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BEng/MEng) in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (Chartered status or working towards it is desirable).
  • Proven experience in aerospace design, analysis, or systems engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, or avionics (depending on specialism).
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAE software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB, or similar).
  • Familiarity with aerospace regulations and certification processes (e.g., EASA/CAA).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and safety.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
