LOCATION: SADDLERS CENTRE

SHIFT PATTERN: 3/4 shifts per week, 42 hours per week (Nights, Days if required with ample notice)

PAY RATE: £13.50 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

This important role is the public face of the Security Team. A can-do and professional attitude is essential, and exemplary standards of Security and Customer Service must always be provided to the client and visitors to the site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Readily interact with all visitors/tenants, delivering first class customer focused service
  • Carry out regular patrols as detailed in the site assignment instructions, being proactive
  • Continuously look for opportunities to assist visitors
  • Safeguard the site to provide a safe, non-threatening environment
  • Ensure incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and procedure
  • Proactively liaise with site control room and support colleagues
  • Report unsecure areas to the Control Room immediately
  • Record/log all non-conformances and emergencies with control room operatives
  • Deal efficiently and effectively with all emergencies, keeping the team informed
  • Monitor and identify suspect individuals; log and report incidents per site/company policies
  • Maintain vigilance and manage unauthorised access by banned individuals
  • Adhere to radio procedures
  • Record all events/incidents correctly in the Security Officer notebook
  • Perform any other reasonable duties to meet business needs
  • Support line manager with other tasks as requested
  • Respond timely to all security issues and events
  • Complete all training requirements as requested
  • Be available to cover at least one additional shift per month if requested
