ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of all PPM and reactive works on the Victoria account. The delivery of these works will be through both the in-house team and relevant ABM sub-contractors. It will be the Lead Engineer's key responsibility to ensure the delivery of all planned works, the capture and completion of remedial works raised from planned activity via the CAFM system and assuring the quality of that work upon completion. Raising all necessary permits for sub-contractor planned works, reviewing and approving RAMS and ensuring attendance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibility for booking in and managing all sub-contractor activity in line with the annual planner, assessing the quality of work being carried out, ensuring all remedials are reviewed/carried out, RAMS obtained and reviewed before work commences.
  • Regular monitoring of the CAFM system to ensure that all tasks (PPM/Reactive/Sub-contractor/ABM) are reviewed and updated within the system to show the correct status.
  • Ensure that the Sub-contractor annual planner boards are kept up to date.
  • Monitor requests for materials/parts submitted by engineers on a regular basis to assist the prompt completion of tasks.
  • Attend meetings as required by your line manager, ABM and Hammerson. These will include a daily meeting with Hammerson, a daily “huddle” with the ABM team.
