JOB TITLE: Senior Mobilisation Manager

REPORTING TO: Head of Operational Performance

LOCATION: London/Remote

SHIFT PATTERN: 40 hours per week

SALARY: Competitive

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

As Senior Mobilisation Manager you will ensure the successful transition of newly awarded contracts and lead the mobilisation team to deliver the agreed solution. This will be achieved through working closely with the Bid Team at tender stage, leading the mobilisation phase, seamlessly handing over the project to the operations lead and supporting the operations team during the transition through to steady state. The key objective of this role is to ensure a smooth mobilisation of contracts, good relations with the client and ensuring all actions are completed and fully handed over to the operations team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Mobilise, re-mobilise and de-mobilise contracts.
  2. Engage with key stakeholders and act as the conduit to ensure all mobilisation actions are completed in the agreed timeframes.
  3. Responsible for management of the mobilisation budget, ensuring each mobilisation is successfully delivered within the budget constraints.
  4. Co-ordinate the relevant business support departments at various stages throughout the process.
  5. Liaising with subcontractors to ensure all actions are achieved within agreed budgets and timeframes.
  6. Chair weekly meetings/conference calls with the operations team and client to update on the contract mobilisation progression, sharing the updated mobilisation plan.
  7. Ensure all sites have essential company documentation from day one.
  8. Complete admin tasks, including but not limited to compiling asset registers, printing H&S documentation where needed, setting sites up to use PPM planners.
  9. Supporting training to sites on business processes and procedures.
  10. Review tender/contract scope of works and create retention strategy.
  11. Chair 90-day review meetings post contract start date. There may also be a requirement to attend annual contract review meetings.
  12. Highlight any issues or risks which may impact the successful delivery of the project, ensuring business continuity during transition.
  13. This role has a national remit and mobility is critical.
  14. Supporting at presentations and contribute to bid proposals.

  1. Flexibility to work on multiple projects and across multiple locations at any time
  2. Understanding the Facilities Management Industry
  3. Strong stakeholder management skills
  4. Mobilisation/Project Management Experience
  5. Ability to travel within business operational area at short notice
  6. High degree of interpersonal skills
  7. Good communication and negotiation skills at all levels of management
  8. Ability to work a programme with tight deadlines
  9. Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  10. Strong Financial Acumen
  11. Personal Tenacity
