We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Security Officer to join our dedicated security team. As a Security Officer with ABM UK, you will be tasked with ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ premises, assets, and personnel. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to incidents. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and will demonstrate professional customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular monitoring and patrols of designated areas to deter criminal activity
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding to alerts and incidents
- Control access to buildings and grounds by verifying credentials and authorizations
- Document all incidents, accidents, and security breaches in reports
- Provide first aid and emergency response when required
- Assist customers and employees with inquiries and act as a point of contact
- Collaborate effectively with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
Requirements
- Experience in security or a related field preferred
- Possession of a valid SIA license
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform security duties and respond to emergencies
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
