LOCATION: GOSFORTH SHOPPING CENTRE, NE3 1JZ

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday 1900-2130 Saturday 1500-2030, 18 hours per week

Yourdutieswillinvolvecleaningofa Shopping Centre mall and associatedareasandincludeshoovering,mopping,using ride on floor machine, and toilet cleaning. You will empty waste and top up consumables. You musthave goodattention to detail andhigh standardsof cleaning. You willbe responsible fordisinfecting areas as per planner.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

This role will include a variety of tasks including the following:

• To be clean, smart in appearance, and wear company uniformat all timesso that ABM’s reputation for professionalism and quality is never compromised.

• To ensure that all cleaning duties carried out are strictlyin accordance withBICSpstandards so that quality work is delivered fully meeting/exceeding client expectations.

• To ensure that all work undertaken is strictly carried outin accordance withABM’s Health and Safety procedures.Moreovertodemonstratetheir commitment to the fact that each ABM employee has a personal responsibility for their own health and safety and for that ofpersonswho may be affected by their acts/or omissions.

• To carry out cleaning duties as directed by the team leader.Moreoverto always consider the work undertaken and wherever opportunities for improvements to working practices exist, put forward suggestions so that ‘continuous improvement’ is the norm.

• To work in a proactive manner supporting/assisting colleagues whenever in a position to do so.

• To undertake ad hoc duties as directed/ operationallyrequired.
