Working across multiple strategic reviews and programmes, the postholder will translate insight and diagnostics into practical operating models and change plans that improve organisational effectiveness, employee experience, and service delivery. This is an individual contributor role that requires specialised depth of expertise in organisational design, change management, and people transformation, solving complex challenges, operating autonomously in managing major change programmes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Translate outputs from strategic reviews (HR Ways of Working, Talent Acquisition, and OD Diagnostics) into integrated operating models, structures, and service delivery frameworks.
- Partner with HR Centres of Expertise, HR Business Partners, and operational leaders to embed new structures, processes, and accountabilities.
- Develop and manage transformation roadmaps, milestones, and governance frameworks — ensuring clear ownership, sequencing, and progress tracking.
- Provide programme management support for the mobilisation of the People Strategy, ensuring alignment of workstreams, milestones, and performance indicators.
- Use people analytics and organisational insights to inform design decisions, track outcomes, and measure progress against People Strategy metrics.
- Build HR and business readiness for change by developing capability, tools, and frameworks that embed transformation practices across the function.
- Partner with Communications to design and deliver engagement and change communications that drive understanding and adoption.
- Ensure organisational design and change initiatives reinforce the One ABM culture and leadership behaviours.
- Embed ABM’s social value, inclusion, and sustainability priorities within transformation projects to strengthen purpose-led people outcomes.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and barriers to success, developing mitigation and contingency plans to ensure delivery momentum.
- Prepare programme updates, business cases, and presentations for the HRLT and Executive Leadership Team.
- Champion continuous improvement and innovation in HR service design, processes, and capability.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience leading complex people and organisational transformation projects in large, multi-site or matrixed organisations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including the ability to use data and insight to inform design and measure success.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, governance, and risk management.
- Experience building organisational capability and embedding change tools and frameworks.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
