ABM UK is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning/Waste Operative to join our night shift team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site, including effective waste management. You will play a key role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for all site personnel during night-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
- Manage and segregate waste in accordance with site and environmental regulations.
- Operate cleaning and waste handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are maintained and stored correctly.
- Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Experience in cleaning and/or waste management preferred but not essential; training can be provided.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night hours.
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for long periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and health screening.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices in industrial or commercial environments.
