LOCATION: MCARTHUR GLEN - WEST MIDLANDS

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off, 42 hours per week

As a Night Security Officer, you will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets by conducting regular patrols, monitoring security systems, and responding promptly to incidents. You will represent ABM UK at client sites and maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patrolling duties and monitoring of premises during night shifts
  • Operate and monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems
  • Control access to buildings, verifying IDs and authorizations
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents as per established protocols
  • Prepare detailed reports on any security breaches, incidents, or suspicious activity
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services if necessary
Requirements:
  • Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license
  • Experience in security or similar roles preferred
  • Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible hours
  • Excellent observational and communication skills
  • Reliable, responsible, and capable of working independently
  • Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures
  • Good physical fitness and ability to perform patrolling duties
