To provide facilities management services support to a specific site. Duties to include, but not restricted to, day to day operational interaction with the client, day to day support of Health & Safety in relation to the FM function. Liaison with other ABM site specific technical team members relevant to their site/sites, supervision of third-party resource and supplier teams relevant to their site/sites, execution of PPM and Reactive maintenance relevant to their site/sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s rules when working on a Client’s premises.
- Implement, observe and comply with all good working practices and to ensure compliance with the appropriate Health & Safety and statutory regulations.
- Ensure that all statutory and legislative policies are complied with.
- Execution of Electrical and Mechanical Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks whilst on the site in line with the contract scope and specification.
- Execution of General Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks on the site with the contract scope and specification.
- Execution of Electrical and Mechanical reactive/Emergency Maintenance tasks and Minor Project works on the site/sites in line with the contract scope and specification.
- Execution of General Reactive/Emergency Maintenance Tasks and Minor Project works on the site in line with the Contract scope and specification.
- To work with and supervise as required all 3rd party resources working on behalf of ABM on the site.
- To support all procurement requirements on the site/sites as required to their areas of work.
- Maintain all Company issued equipment in a clean, serviceable and presentable manner.
- Ensure that all Company IT system requirements are completed accurately and legibly at all times and presented in a timely manner.

- Participate in the site shift rota system as required.
- Participate in the Company’s standby/out of hours emergency call-out rota if required.
- Present themselves in a professional manner and maintain good relationships with clients and other staff members at all times.
- Support the Lead FM Technician, Contract Administrators and/or the Regional Manager in their roles by effective communication.
- Ensure that all work areas are maintained in a clean and tidy state and dispose of all waste products in a suitable manner.
- Actively promote ABM led initiatives.
- Other duties as may be reasonable required in the provision of the FM function on the site/sites.
Requirements
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship and hold a relevant mechanical qualification.
- Experience in a similar multi-skilled role.
- Good communication skills.
- Good mix of general maintenance / reactive skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team or on their own initiative.
- Ability to prioritise work loads.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Experience of cooling towers and their operation including weekly dip slides.
