LOCATION: Cotswold Designer Outlet

SHIFT PATTERN: Full time: Saturday & Sunday 09:00 - 19:00 (& 2 days in the week)

PAY RATE: £13.24 per hour

ABM is looking for a proactive Cleaner to join our team. Your duties will involve working alongside the general cleaning operatives for the Cotswold designer outlet. You will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring and controlling the cleaning operations and waste management within your remit. You will also be required to complete necessary training on shift and ensure you are carrying out the tasks to a high standard.

Your duties will involve cleaning, hoovering, mopping, desk wiping, kitchen, and toilet cleaning. You will empty waste and top up consumables. You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for disinfecting areas as per planner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Housekeeping duties including washrooms, bins & mall areas.
  • Following group and company policies and procedures.
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system.
  • Any other duties as assigned by your manager to support the team and ensure the smooth operation of the business.

Requirements

  • Experience in a cleaning, janitorial, or maintenance role would be beneficial, though not always essential.
  • Understanding how to use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to follow company policies, cleaning protocols, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to report any issues, communicate training needs, and provide feedback to management.
  • Willingness to take on other duties as assigned, supporting the team in various cleaning tasks.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Work to routine schedules.
  • Ability to work on their own and as a team.
  • Excellent timekeeping.
  • Good communication skills.
