Location: London (Multiple Sites). Reporting to: Regional/Operations Manager. Salary: Competitive + Company Car.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Cleaning Manager to oversee multiple cleaning contracts across London. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of service delivery, client satisfaction, and team performance across a variety of commercial sites. This is a field-based role requiring travel between sites, with a focus on operational efficiency and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple commercial sites in London.
- Manage, support, and motivate cleaning teams to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, conducting regular site visits and audits.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, recruitment, and training across all sites.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Report on performance metrics and operational issues to senior management.
- Proactively resolve issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
Person Specification
- Minimum of 3 years\’ experience in commercial cleaning management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple contracts/sites simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- DBS clearance or ability to pass a DBS check.
- Flexible, proactive, and client-focused approach.
Desirable Qualifications
- IOSH/NEBOSH certificate or equivalent H&S training.
- Knowledge of working at height regulations, IPAF/PASMA certification (advantageous).
- Experience in window or high-level cleaning (desirable but not essential).
