LOCATION: Arena Shopping Park, Coventry, CV6 6LN
HOURS: 42 hours per week
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off, two sets of days then two sets of nights, rolling shift pattern
PAY RATE: £13.17 per hour
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
This is a permanent contract. Door Supervisor licences required. Arena Shopping Park is an indoor and outdoor shopping centre housing over 35 retail shops and restaurants. We are looking to appoint a full-time security officer to complete our team.

- SIA Door Supervisor licence essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Smart and well-groomed
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of all situations to ensure tasks are completed or escalated when necessary.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Conflict management aware
- Telephone skills
- Familiar with patrolling and monitoring from a loss prevention aspect
- Confident in complying with Health & Safety and fire prevention procedures
- Ability to adapt to changing situations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gladly interact with all visitors/tenants within the shopping centre, delivering first class customer focused service
- Carry out regular patrols of the shopping centre
- Ensuring all incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and procedures
- Liaising with site control room proactively reacting to incidents
- Ensuring any unsecure areas of the site are reported immediately
- Deal efficiently and effectively with all emergencies
- Monitoring and surveillance of suspect individuals, logging, and reporting incidents in line with site/company polices
- Maintain vigilance and highlight unauthorised access by banned individuals
- Ensure radio procedures are always adhered to
- Ensure all events/incidents are recorded in the DOB book correctly
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
- Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events
- Complete all training requirements as requested by line manager
