Security Officer
Location: The Potteries Centre, Hanley Swan, England.
Pay Rate: £13.10 per hour.
Shift Pattern: Saturday, Sunday, 16 hours per week.

As a Security Officer at ABM UK, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients\’ premises. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of security, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to any security incidents that may arise. You will also contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter and address any security concerns.
- Respond to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other security personnel and law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, answering inquiries and addressing concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
- Valid SIA license and/or relevant certifications (CCTV, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations.
- Attention to detail and a high level of observation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
