HOURS: Full-time, 4 on and 4 off, variable shifts including weekend working. The average of 46 hours per week.

We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Security Officer to join our dedicated security team. As a Security Officer with ABM UK, you will be tasked with ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ premises, assets, and personnel. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular monitoring and patrols of designated areas to deter criminal activity
- Monitoring surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding to alerts and incidents
- Controlling access to buildings and grounds by verifying credentials and authorizations
- Documenting all incidents, accidents, and security breaches in reports
- Providing first aid and emergency response when required
- Assisting customers and employees with inquiries and acting as a point of contact
- Collaborating effectively with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
Experience in security or a related field preferred:
- Possession of a valid SIA license
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform security duties and respond to emergencies
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
