OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintaining and transporting stock levels in a busy airport warehouse.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Your main aim will be to ensure that par levels of stock meet customer requirements, replenishing and recycling items as necessary and processing orders using agreed procedures.
- Stock items include a range of aircraft consumables and laundry items such as blankets, headrest covers and headsets.
- You will also clean and check storage units and equipment, ensure that equipment and materials are removed from vehicles when required and ensure accurate records are kept of usage and availability.
- The role will involve some manual handling activities - e.g., lifting and carrying cleaning equipment and driving.
Requirements:
- Experience in a stores, warehouse or similar environment
- Entry level functional skills
- Good communication skills
- Good literacy skills
- Driving Licence
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness and ability to work shifts
