Role Overview And Purpose

  • Primary responsibility is to repair all plumber and mechanical fixtures on the contract.
  • Perform PPM on water hygiene assets inline with the SFG20.
  • Manage workloads, meet deadlines and arrange quotations of remedial jobs over Ā£500.
  • Competent in general engineering works, balancing mechanical and electrical trades.
  • Full commissioning and servicing of all HVAC equipment.
  • Co‐operate with contract staff to achieve employer and client acceptance in line with agreed terms.
  • Produce all documentation as required, including technical reports and failure reports for plant components.
  • Maintain own Health & Safety on site, following Method Statements and Risk Assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and reactive repair to plumbing accessories to current regulations, standards and manufacturer instructions.
  • Mechanical and electrical general competence.
  • Quoted work repairs and light installation work on gas equipment across our network of sites.
  • Complete a weekly time sheet correctly and submit it to your line manager.
  • Submit expenses weekly with all supporting receipts.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for the customer whilst on site and obtain a customer's signature to enable the job to be invoiced without delays.
  • Complete engineer's worksheet in full, giving full details of plant that requires additional work.
  • Identify lifecycle replacement requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Plumbing level 2 & 3 NVQ.
  • L8 Qualified.
  • IPAF, PASMA.
  • Understand SFG20 and deliver works to a timescale.
  • Preferred to have NVQ in Mechanical and/or electrical to backup gas qualifications.

DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

  • Extra qualifications to enable further self‐delivery of our contract.
