Role Overview:

As a Cleaning Operative with ABM UK, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various client sites to the highest standard. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a commitment to health and safety, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces.
  • Clean and sanitize toilets, kitchens, and communal areas, ensuring restocking of consumables.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with recycling and health and safety guidelines.
  • Operate cleaning equipment responsibly and maintain them in good working order.
  • Report any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning preferred but full training provided.
  • Ability to work flexibly across different shifts.
  • Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
