Job Description

LOCATION: Airbus, Belfast

REPORTING TO: Contract Manager

SALARY: Competitive

Key Responsibilities

Service Provision
• Ensure that a robust energy efficiency programme/ management system is delivered in line with ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Standard throughout the duration of the contract
• Ensure Compliance with all relevant UK and European legislation. Key schemes include:
• UK Emissions Trading Scheme- Queen's Island
• Climate Change Agreements- Queen's Island and BAS
• Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting- all sites; and
• Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme- all sites
• Delivery of energy awareness workshops to all Spirit departments as required
• Attendance at Environmental Working Groups where energy performance is reviewed with the on-site departments and preparation of supporting information slides/ materials.
• Provision of various energy and water reports, such as:
• Monthly report detailing all aspects of energy management and compliance to include year to date consumption/ carbon and spend versus budget, identification and progress on energy efficiency projects and compliance
• Fortnightly risk notification/ cost projections
• Monthly accruals
• Supporting the AES/ BSc process
• Monthly Energy Governance Reports
• Operation, maintenance and development of the M&T and BMS systems, eSight and Trend.
• Robust data management, ensuring that all corporate and legal reporting requirements are met in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Chairing the weekly operational and monthly strategic energy management meetings and preparation of supporting materials
• Maintenance and development of a Register of Opportunities where energy projects are identified and reviewed.
• Submission of variations to compliance related permits and agreements (UK ETS, CCAs)
• Deal with any requests from local environmental agencies (NIEA) and Utility Regulator.
• Supporting the client with energy procurement and management of energy suppliers, including attendance at quarterly review meetings where directed.
• Attendance at seminars and consultation workshops on behalf of the client.
• Energy and Water budget management including PO raising/ uplifts, bill validation and invoice management
• Development and maintenance of energy standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all activities

Other
• Take a results-orientated approach to the role, ensure results are analysed/trended and understood; and that remedial actions are delivered.
• Support the growth of the business, where possible, by up-selling and cross-selling to customers and by passing on potential sales leads.
• Support any customer initiatives which could lead to longer term benefits to both the customer and ABM.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested by a member of the Management Team.

• x Years post qualification engineering experience across different industrial sectors operating within a regulated environment.
