The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Purpose: To be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical installations within our client's vast manufacturing facility. To perform EICR inspections in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Contribute to the safety and security of the facility, helping to protect both employees and assets in the event of an emergency.
LOCATION: Spirit AeroSystems, Belfast
CONTRACT: Fixed term
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday
Service Provision:
- Perform thorough Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on various electrical systems and equipment across the client site.
- Inspect and test various electrical installations, circuits, and equipment for compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Document findings and create detailed reports.
- Maintain clear and professional communication as per SOP's with the client, colleagues, and management regarding testing schedules, findings, and recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure all electrical work complies with legal and safety requirements.
- Ensure that testing equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and in good working order.
- Adhere to safety protocols and practices, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Other:
- Take a results-oriented approach to the role, ensure results are analysed/trended and understood; and that remedial actions are delivered.
- Support any customer initiatives which could lead to longer term benefits to both the customer and ABM.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested by a member of the Management Team.
Skills And Experience:
Essential Criteria:- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations.
- City & Guilds 2391 Certification for Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (or equivalent).
- UK Driving Licence.
- Proven experience in conducting EICR inspections in industrial settings, preferably in large manufacturing facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience using EasyCert, (or similar), electrical testing software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Confident decision maker under pressure.
- Flexible, reliable, responsible, calm in a crisis.
