LOCATION: Parkway Shopping Centre, Coulby Newham Middlesbrough SHIFT PATTERN: 4 ON 3 OFF 4 week rolling rota, 36 hours per week PAY RATE: £12.46 per hour ABM UK is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dual Role Operative to join our team. As a Dual Role Operative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients' facilities. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Carry out basic repair and maintenance work, including replacing light bulbs and fixing minor plumbing issues. Ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and presentable at all times.
Respond to client requests and resolve any issues in a prompt and professional manner. Monitor and maintain supplies inventory, ensuring that necessary materials are readily available. Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment for both employees and clients.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment and furniture for events and special occasions. Requirements Previous experience in a similar role within the facilities services industry. Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair tasks.
Flexibility to work in different locations and adapt to changing work environments. Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks. Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
