Job Objective & Responsibilities:
We are looking to appoint a proactive Cleaning Operative to join our team and assist in maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment for all our customers and staff.
Duties:
- Cleaning and sanitising all areas of the shopping Centre including benches, bins, planters, lifts, escalators, stairwells, small soft play area and display units
- Clean and sanitise all areas of customer toilets including cubicles, toilet seats, cisterns, sanitary fittings, urinals, sinks, mirrors and hand dryers
- Ensure all customer toilets are fully stocked with paper, soap etc and all items are fully functional
- Clean all floor areas conducting hoovering, sweeping and mopping
- Use of machinery and equipment in line with training and maintaining H&S compliance
- Chewing gum removal
- Conduct adhoc tasks in connection with business requirements
- Assist in the case of fire evacuation or other major/minor incident
- Use of all company equipment conducted in line with policies, site specific R.A.M.S. and training
- Confident in complying with health & safety and fire prevention procedures
