ABM UK is seeking vigilant and professional Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, visitors, and employees. Your responsibilities will include patrolling designated areas, monitoring security systems, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular patrols of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or hazards.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security.
- Operate and monitor security equipment such as CCTV systems and alarms.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors as needed.
- Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or breaches to the appropriate authorities.
- Valid SIA Security Guard licence is essential.
- Previous experience in a security role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and observational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional attitude.
- Good physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents.
