Pay rate: £12.50 per hour
Shifts: 4 on 4 off, 40 hours per week
Role Overview and Purpose
Working as a member of the PRM Airside Driver Team, you will operate the company's specialist vehicles on the airfield to transfer passengers with reduced mobility (PRMs) from the aircraft to the terminal or vice versa. Vehicles range from Minibuses to Class 2 rigid heavy goods vehicles, with full training provided. You will also assist PRMs onto aircraft, into vehicles, or terminal buildings, involving passenger and manual handling techniques.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any vehicle issues according to procedures.
- Drive company vehicles ensuring safety and security at all times.
- Operate vehicles safely near aircraft using all safety systems.
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.
- Assist passengers, including those in wheelchairs, using manual handling techniques.
- Perform Customer Care Agent duties in the terminal as needed, including escorting passengers and assisting PRMs.
- Update the Allocator on job progress via PDA and radio.
- Follow all Liverpool airport airside driving requirements.
- Promote a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
- Experience in similar roles or driving larger vehicles is advantageous.
