The Sustainability Solutions Lead plays a crucial role in our mission to drive impactful sustainability initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with our clients’ goals, enhancing their environmental performance, and fostering a culture of sustainability within the organization. This position involves close collaboration with clients, cross-functional teams, and industry stakeholders to deliver tailored sustainability solutions that are not only innovative but also practical and results-oriented. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement the organizations sustainability strategy aligned with overall business goals and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Identify opportunities for sustainable product and service development, such as eco-design, energy-efficient solutions, and circular economy initiatives. Work closely with internal teams (product development, procurement, supply chain, operations) to promote sustainability goals and implement sustainable practices. Oversee the collection, analysis, and management of sustainability-related data to track performance and inform decision-making. Educate and train employees at all levels on sustainability goals, practices, and their role in achieving them. Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks that may impact the organization, such as regulatory changes, resource scarcity, or climate-related risks. Continuously seek improvements and innovations that advance sustainability goals, drive cost efficiency, and support a circular economy model. Build partnerships with sustainable solution providers, technology innovators, and community organizations to leverage external expertise and resources. Monitor industry trends, emerging regulations, and advancements in sustainability to keep the organization competitive and compliant. Lead sustainability teams, ensuring they are motivated, resourced, and aligned with the organizations strategic objectives. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of the Facilities Management sector Proven experience in sustainability consulting or solutions development, ideally in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., TCFD, GHG Protocol, ESG considerations). Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sustainability strategies that drive results. Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in data analysis and sustainability metrics, with proficiency in relevant software tools. Knowledge of ISO standards related to environmental management (ISO 14001) is preferred. Relevant qualifications or certifications in sustainability, environmental science, or related fields. A passion for sustainability and a proactive approach to solving environmental challenges.
