LOCATION: BP - ABERDEEN

SHIFT PATTERN: Mon-Fri (18:00-21:00), 15 hours per week

PAY RATE: £13.45 per hour

As an Evening Housekeeper at ABM UK, you will be an integral part of our commitment to excellence in service delivery. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring they are welcoming and in perfect condition for our customers and tenants alike.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas to ensure high cleanliness standards.
  • Restock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure their availability for daily operations.
  • Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly, maintaining a hygienic environment for users.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning to the appropriate supervisor or management.
  • Follow health and safety standards and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and guests.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as requested, such as deep cleaning or event cleaning.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and their visitors by ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role, preferably in a facility services environment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and techniques to ensure effective and safe cleaning practices.
  • Ability to work independently, managing time efficiently to complete tasks within the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good communication skills to interact positively with team members and clients.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and possibly weekends as required by the operational needs of the role.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
