Job Title: External Cleaning Operative
Location: Glasgow City Centre
Shift Pattern : Monday to Sunday, working 0500-1700 or 0500-1400 over three week rota.
Working hours. 43 per week.
Pay rate. £14.20 per hour
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pressure Washing.
- Grafitti removal
- Litter pick and sweep of designated streets within Glasgow City Centre.
- Detail work i.e. removing adhesives from bollards, barriers, bins, phone boxes and utility boxes.
- Following group and company policies and procedures
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Good attendance
- Work to routine schedules
- Be able to proactively find tasks
- Ability to work on their own and as a team
- Excellent timekeeping
- Good communication skills
