ABM Express Ltd is looking for a reliable and professional Self-Employed HGV Class 2 Driver to drive an 18T curtain-side vehicle.
This is an ongoing Monday to Friday contract, involving general haulage, collections and deliveries across the UK.
Up to 4 nights out per week may be required depending on workload and delivery locations.

Main Duties
Driving an 18T curtain-side vehicle safely and professionally
Completing collections and deliveries across the UK
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Securing loads correctly
Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining PODs
Keeping in contact with the transport office regarding deliveries, delays or issues
Following Drivers’ Hours, Working Time and tachograph regulations
Reporting vehicle defects promptly
Taking reasonable care of the vehicle and equipment
Representing ABM Express professionally when dealing with customers
As this is a self-employed contract, the driver will be responsible for their own tax and National Insurance obligations.
We are looking for someone dependable who can work independently, communicate well with the transport office and take good care of the vehicle.
