HGV Class 2 Driver – 18T Curtain Side – Self-Employed ABM Express Ltd is looking for a reliable and professional Self-Employed HGV Class 2 Driver to drive an 18T curtain-side vehicle. The role involves general haulage, collections and deliveries across the UK. Nights out will be required depending on the workload and delivery locations. Pay: * £180 per day * Self-employed position * The daily rate includes any required nights out * Weekly payments Main duties: * Driving an 18T curtain-side vehicle safely and professionally * Completing collections and deliveries across the UK * Carrying out daily vehicle checks * Securing loads correctly * Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining PODs * Keeping in contact with the transport office regarding deliveries, delays or issues * Following Drivers’ Hours, Working Time and tachograph regulations * Reporting vehicle defects promptly * Taking reasonable care of the vehicle and equipment Requirements: * 5 Years of Full UK Category C / Class 2 licence * Valid Driver CPC * Valid Digital Tachograph Card * Good knowledge of UK roads * Previous HGV driving experience preferred * Curtain-side experience preferred * Good understanding of load securing * Reliable and punctual * Professional attitude with customers * Comfortable with nights out when required As this is a self-employed position, the driver will be respons...
