Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking enthusiastic Passenger Service Agents to join our team at Edinburgh Airport. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and efficient airport experience for passengers, from check-in to boarding.
As a Passenger Service Agent you will have excellent customer service skills creating interactions that leave a lasting impression. Creating an elevated customer experience requires the highest possible standard of service delivery, with a positive attitude.
We have a variety of roles within our Passenger Services team, some of which include:
- Check in support for Airlines
- Passenger Way Finding
- Assisting Passengers with Reduced Mobility
- Document Checking
- Queue Management
- Customer service - stock replenishment & tills
Key responsibilities:
- Providing a welcoming and professional service to all passengers.
- Assisting with check-in, boarding, and baggage handling procedures.
- Managing passport and security checks, ensuring compliance with airline and airport regulations.
- Handling passenger inquiries and resolving any travel-related issues efficiently.
- Liaising with airline and airport teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Explaining processes to passengers to prepare for next steps.
- Comply with all safety procedures.
Key Requirements/Skills:
- A customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Flexibility to work on a shift pattern, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong communication skills to interact with passengers and team members.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in handling passenger needs.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
- Full Driving License (unless local to airport for public transport).
You will obtain an Airside pass for the airport, meaning you will need to be able to provide us with a full 5 year history and criminal record check. You must also have a valid passport and have right to work in the UK.
