JOB TITLE: Fleet Administrator (9 month fixed term contract)

LOCATION: Chesterfield, S44 5HS(Hybrid/Office Based asrequired)

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday 37.5hours per week

SALARY: Competitive

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

We areseekinganorganisedand proactive Fleet Administrator to join our Fleet team. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day administration of ABM's vehicle fleet, supporting drivers, managers, suppliers, and external partners to ensure the fleetoperatesefficiently, compliantly, and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintainaccuratevehicle, driver, and allocation records across fleet management systems.
  • Ensure all fleet databases, trackers, and spreadsheets are updated andaccurateat all times.
  • Monitorfuel card usageandfleet inbox.
  • Administer driverlicencechecking systems and compliance requirements.
  • Manage congestioncharge,toll, parking, and fleet accounts.
  • Process PCNs and notices of intended prosecution.
  • Monitormileage records and produce fleet reports.
  • Support telematics and vehicle tracking systems.
  • Arrange vehicle collections,deliveriesandtransfers
  • Coordinate short-term hires and replacement vehicles.
  • Liaise with fleet management providers and suppliers.
  • Support vehicle insurance claims and accident management processes.
  • Raise purchase orders and process goods receipt notes.
  • Support FORS accreditation and fleet compliance activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previousexperience in a fleet administration role.
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicles and fleet operations.
  • Excellentorganisationaland communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with fleet management systems.

Desirable

  • FORS Practitioner qualification.
  • Knowledge of FORS requirements.
  • Experience supporting insurance claims and accident management.
