Our client, a leading litigation practice is looking to appoint a paralegal to join their non-accidental injury team. The team specialises in assisting people affected by abuse, violence or harassment and to help them obtain both compensation and support. Dealing with client-focused pursuer files, you will be expected to investigate cases at pre-litigation stage, collect evidence, and assist principal fee earners with the preparation of cases. You will be required to handle a range of complex, specialist cases in the areas of historical abuse and injury caused by crimes of violence/harassment. Applicants must have practical experience working as a personal injury paralegal within private practice in Scotland. You will be used to dealing with clients in an empathetic manner, have good organisational and attention to detail skills, and be an effective communicator. Salary will be dependant on experience.
