My client are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our energy sector operations team. This role will focus on achieving HSEQ excellence and compliance with all relevant legislation while fostering a positive culture where safety and environmental responsibility are integral to everyone's actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HSE advice and guidance to operational teams regarding safety, health, and environmental legislation.
- Support the development and execution of HSE strategy and improvement initiatives.
- Lead HSEQ improvement projects, including annual HSE plan development and Emergency Response Programme management.
- Contribute to company HSE, Quality, and ESG policies development.
- Conduct site/offshore inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage Safety Case reviews and updates between asset and onshore teams.
- Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs and awareness campaigns.
- Generate and present HSEQ reports to leadership teams.
Required Qualifications:
- HND or higher in Engineering, Business, Health and Safety, or Environmental discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma.
- Valid OGUK Medical, MIST, and BOSIET certifications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK HSE regulatory framework.
- Proven experience as an HSE Manager within the Energy Industry.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in change management and promoting positive safety culture.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
