Full-time & permanent sales position, hybrid role with office based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire.
Reporting to: Maxine MacPherson: Founder & Managing Director AbleMaxx
Salary: Based on experience. Bonus based on KPIs, targets and successful completion of the annual S&M plan.
Key Role Objectives:
- Ambassador of Destination DC within the UK MICE market.
- Management and execution of an agreed annual sales and marketing plan – produced by DDC for the UK market.
- Responsible for distribution of Destination DC lead marketing within the UK MICE market.
- Industry networking & liaison.
- Provision and conversion of corporate event opportunities for the city.
- Monthly sales report in timely manner with summary of activities and KPIs.
Scope of Services:
- Monthly sales activities and follow-up of lead opportunities with provision of a monthly sales report.
- Provision of sales and marketing information and knowledge support.
- Industry networking & liaison with corporate and agency event planners, airlines and relevant hotel groups.
- Provision of leads to the CVB and/or CVB partners with robust follow-up execution.
- Management and execution of an agreed annual sales and marketing plan including planning and execution of an annual week long sales mission, fam trips, educational activities, workshops, tradeshows and other activities as agreed.
- Dissemination of regular html e-mailings to the industry with information provided by Destination DC.
- Social media sharing with given and approved marketing pieces to share with contacts.
- Collaboration with industry partners.
- Necessary global travel for educational, marketing and client familiarisations.
- Has a personal commitment to organisational excellence; displays honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decision and actions.
- Proven proactive sales record in the MICE industry.
- Commercial and pragmatic.
- Good understanding and passion for the corporate & intermediary events industry (MICE).
- Committed to continuous development/improvement.
- Personally responsible for achieving challenging goals and expectations.
