The Role: A position has just become available for the right candidate to join our Logistics Team here at Ablebox. We are looking for a very well presented Class 1 HGV Lorry Driver to join the team immediately. Driving artic curtainsider vehicles within circa 80 mile radius of Yeovil. Day work, Monday to Friday (no weekends or nightshift, no bank holidays, we shut down over Xmas too!).
- Using a hand held electronic device to get customer signatures for deliveries
- Communicate with the Office whenever you face a problem
- Securely strapping your load
- Daily vehicle checks and report any issues
The Candidate:
- Must be a very well presented individual
- Flexible to meet the demands of the business
- Clean drivers licence Class 1 HGV for minimum 5 years with experience
- Take pride in the cleanliness and appearance of our fleet of vehicles
- Comply with DVLA & DVSA regulations at ALL times
- Current counterbalance forklift licence may be useful - but not a necessity.
The Package:
- Overtime offered at 150%
- Shift premium for early start or late finish of additional 30%
- No night shifts
- No weekend work
