We are supporting a global engineering business with a strong reputation for delivering automation and process control solutions across industrial environments.

Due to continued growth they are looking to appoint an experienced PLC / SCADA Software Engineer to join their Engineering & Projects team.

Working alongside Process Engineers and EC&I specialists, you will develop software used to control automated plant and industrial processes, supporting projects from design through to testing, commissioning and ongoing system development.

  • What You Will Be Doing
  • Developing PLC software for industrial plant and process applications
  • Creating and supporting SCADA systems
  • Translating operational requirements into automation solutions
  • Working closely with Process Engineers and engineering teams
  • Supporting testing, validation and commissioning activities
  • Producing technical documentation
  • Investigating faults and implementing software improvements
  • What We Are Looking For
  • Strong Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience including RSLogix
  • Experience developing and supporting SCADA applications
  • Industrial automation or process control experience
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Experience within water, manufacturing, utilities, process or other automated industrial environments
