We are supporting a global engineering business with a strong reputation for delivering automation and process control solutions across industrial environments.
Due to continued growth they are looking to appoint an experienced PLC / SCADA Software Engineer to join their Engineering & Projects team.
Working alongside Process Engineers and EC&I specialists, you will develop software used to control automated plant and industrial processes, supporting projects from design through to testing, commissioning and ongoing system development.
- What You Will Be Doing
- Developing PLC software for industrial plant and process applications
- Creating and supporting SCADA systems
- Translating operational requirements into automation solutions
- Working closely with Process Engineers and engineering teams
- Supporting testing, validation and commissioning activities
- Producing technical documentation
- Investigating faults and implementing software improvements
- What We Are Looking For
- Strong Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience including RSLogix
- Experience developing and supporting SCADA applications
- Industrial automation or process control experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience within water, manufacturing, utilities, process or other automated industrial environments
