Able Tutors is a leading tutoring agency based in London. We are looking for experienced tutors to teach GCSE/KS3/KS2 Maths/English, in-person, in PE1, Peterborough. This is a face-to-face position and will involve teaching on a 1-2-1 basis.
Requirements:
- At least ONE year of recent experience teaching Maths/English/Science (in this country)
- Based in the UK
- Able to travel to PE1
- Have a relevant degree
- Enhanced DBS clearance within the last 3 years
- Be able to work during and/or after school hours and/or at weekends
- Be able to provide two UK-based references (parents of recent tutees/professional colleagues)
The pay is dependent on qualifications and level of tuition required.
Responsibilities:
- 2 hours per day during the daytime teaching
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans for GCSE Maths, English, and Science students.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment to encourage student participation.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic performance and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational best practices to enhance teaching methods.
