Electrical Training Instructor Required

Able Skills is a well‑established training company that is passionate about teaching adults. At Able Skills Ltd, we are proud to offer a range of Electrical courses and assessments in Dartford, Kent. We provide courses to both existing tradespeople as well as to new entrants.

Able Skills is seeking a talented electrical trainer and assessor to become part of our team. We welcome applications from experienced electrical tutors who have a passion for teaching and expertise in electrical installation. Ideally, we require an individual who has previously undertaken AM2 assessments or who is qualified to undertake AM2 assessments.

Required Qualifications

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment
  • Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation Inspection, Testing, Certification and Reporting
  • Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on experience in electrical installation
  • A willingness to continue self‑development
  • A passion for helping students achieve

Ideal but Not Essential

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Tutor/Electrical Trainer
  • PTLLS and A1 Assessor qualifications (Not essential as we can assist you in achieving these)
  • A sense of humour (Not essential but very handy)

Job Types: Full‑time

Expected Hours: Mon‑Fri – 08:30 – 16:00
