We are seeking a Tutor/Assessor for engineering apprenticeships. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation who value and appreciate staff, offering excellent prospects.
JOB ROLE
- To deliver Level 3 Engineering Technician - Mechanical and Electrical pathways for standard Mechatronics pathway and level 3 maintenance and operations engineering technician (MOET).
- Deliver Level 2 Foundation Competence.
- Deliver Level 3 Development Competence.
- Level 3 Development Knowledge.
- Delivering via face-to-face sessions in the classroom/workshop environment.
- Complete guidance and mock end point assessments to ensure learners are ready for independent assessment.
- Embed Mathematics and English.
- To coach and mentor learners.
- To work with a caseload of learners.
- Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time.
- Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development.
- Produce reports based on KPIs.
ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE
- A UK recognised teaching qualification such as Cert ed, CTTS/DTTLS etc or assessor qualified such as TAQA, AVA, A1, D32/D33.
- Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism.
