This is your opportunity to step away from the day to day pressures of hospitality operations and use your knowledge to support apprentices working towards successful completion of their End Point Assessments.

At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate End Point Assessor Hospitality to join their expanding team based across the Southampton, Basingstoke and Guildford areas. This is a full-time permanent position where you will work with hospitality apprentices and employers to plan, conduct and complete End Point Assessments against apprenticeship standards. You will play a key role in supporting quality assessment processes while helping apprentices demonstrate their skills, knowledge and behaviours within the hospitality sector.

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct End Point Assessment planning meetings with apprentices and employers
  • Carry out End Point Assessment activities through face to face and online methods
  • Determine overall grades based on performance across all assessment activities
  • Maintain accurate and confidential assessment records using internal systems
  • Manage and maintain an up to date caseload of apprentices
  • Attend standardisation meetings and training sessions to ensure consistency in assessment practice
  • Support quality assurance processes and follow all assessment procedures and policies
  • Identify and report risks, malpractice, maladministration, complaints, or concerns where required

What we are looking for:

  • Strong hospitality industry experience within Front of House and Back of House operations
  • Experience in hospitality supervisory or management roles
  • Excellent knowledge of hospitality apprenticeship standards and assessment practices
  • A recognised Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards one
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and digital systems
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable:

  • Commis Chef experience
  • Experience carrying out End Point Assessments
  • Knowledge of EPA Pro or similar systems
  • Experience working within apprenticeship delivery or vocational training environments
